Ilyse Mimoun is a writer, actor, and producer who has appeared on Arrested Development, Doubt, Chuck, 90210, Privileged, and The TV Set, among others.

Her debut comic novel, Choose Your Own Love Story, was published by Perseus Books and optioned by Sony Pictures Television. Ilyse was a writer and producer on the pilot and two seasons of Lewis Black’s: Root of All Evil. In 2020, she wrote, directed, and starred in Law & Order: the Musical! which critics called “ingenious” and “electrifying.”

Ilyse has also written and produced two comic short films: #metoo gumshoe (which she directed), and no benefits with strings attached. #metoo gumshoe is an official selection for the 2018 Mill Valley Film Festival, Portland Film Festival, and Chicago Comedy Film Festival, where she was awarded “Top Female Filmmaker.”

When she’s not making new art, Ilyse feels a yawning chasm of existential dread opening up beneath her. So she tends to keep busy.
